 downloaded bigbasket.com mobile app and placed very first order of mine on 19th nov 2017. Order number was MSUFO-36514311-191117. I got a call from 020 7102 2017 and the bigbasket executive told me that he will confirm me whether their service is available at my pincode 396445 ( Navsari, Gujarat) or not. I requested him to confirm the same within half an hour so that I can purchase the same items from nearby store like reliance fresh. I did not get any call and finally I got a call from big basket in the evening at 6: 40pm and the executive informed me that their service is not available at pincode 396445 and they are cancelling my order. I asked him a simple question that if your service is not available in my pincode then why your app shows me the area and same pincode in drop down list while selecting the pincode. Why you do not remove the same and prompt customer at the time of placing order that your service is not available at this pincode. Why you accept order and payment. Bigbasket executive told me thay their service was previously available at this pincode but now they have wind up services. And he told me that the process of removing the area puncode from their software or app is in process. I dont think it would take longer time to ammend the same. He told me like it was such a big task like developing microsoft windows operating system. It was funny. Finally my order was cancelled. The most shocking thing is that they mentioned the reason of cancellation that the address was incomplete. How big liers they are. They did not accept that their service is not available. This is really very strange that your app has bug and you accept order and payment and then you say your service is not available and you are working on updating your server data. I can not believe. Bigbasket makes so much promos on TV and media but there are lots of such issues I think. They are winding up their services I think as the bigbasket executive told me that they were previuosly serving to my pincode but now they are not serving. There may be such many pincodes which may be showing in app but the service may not be available. Bigbasket tries to show that they have vast network but actually it is not. Navsari is not so interior area. It is nearby Surat but bigbasket service is not available. I just dont trust bigbasket as they are liers and they can go to any extent to hide their inabilities.
