Surf lifesavers may ditch 'uncool' skull cap for more sun

Surf Life Saving Australia is asking all of its members whether the cap should be removed from frontline duties amid concerns it http://www.monclerstore.co.uk/ is seen as uncool by younger club members and did not offer enough protection from the sun.

Options for the review include removing the patrol cap from the uniform altogether or making it optional with clubs and branches being able to mandate its use.

"A review is just that: 'a review' and the outcomes will be determined by the membership, with final decision made at a national level," a spokeswoman for Surf Life Saving NSW said.
