Let’s talk about the most often used marketing strategy i.e. Advertising. Everyone in this era of innovation has some basic idea of what advertising means. There is Above The Line (ATL) Advertising and Below The Line (BTL) advertising. To know more about them, keep on reading

ATL Advertising

Used when the message is sent to the mass market, ATL advertising often deals with creating awareness about your brand’s existence. The ads do not target a specified audience and thus does not contain a certain message. The idea is to convince the customer to at least visit the stores and get to know about the brand and its offerings.

ATL Advertising Examples

Usually, ATL advertising includes promoting your products on Television, where you can advertise your brand to a national or international level. It also includes the promotion of your brand through print media or digital media.

If you want to promote Dubai Marina Apartments for rent or Dubai Marina apartments for sale, you can promote this through advertising. There are many examples of advertisements for housing units in print or digital media.

BTL Advertising

Just opposite to ATL advertising, BTL advertising is targeted for a specific group. These advertisements require in-depth information about the target audience such as their demographic and psychographic behavior in order to be designed. The message sent through BTL advertising is highly personalized crafted by keeping in mind their characteristics. Its purpose is to gain conversions and inspire more and more potential buyers to give the brand a chance.

One of the biggest benefits of BTL advertising is that it is easier to track the result of these strategies. Its ROI is high as well. Furthermore, you can craft different BTL strategies for a different subset of customers within the same segment.

BTL Advertising Examples

BTL advertisement includes Billboards, fliers, banners, etc. It also includes direct marketing through SMS, Email, social media and so forth.

Many brands opt for in-store promotion such as visual merchandising, retailer pop-ups, sales promotion, etc. While some select public relations like a press conference or viral marketing. All these are good examples of BTL Advertisement.

Marketing your product is tricky. You have to make sure you reach the right audience with the right solution to their problems. That’s not an easy thing to do, in fact, wrong marketing strategies can lead your brand towards great loss. So, understand each concept clearly before you formulate your marketing strategy.
