Devi Durga is a feminine epitome of strength and a divine potency responsible for keeping this material world in order and decorum; she is an embodiment of ferocity as well as compassion who holds equal parts as a destroyer and creator both. This brass statue is painted in enchanting brown and golden color combination with the divinity perched in lalitasana on a ferocious lion (Durga’s vahana), hence named as Simhavahini. The lion is carved in glowing golden hairs on a copper-brown body and stands on multiple layered rectangular pedestals chiseled in beautiful lotus petals and ethnic patterns.

Ashtabhujadari Durga (one with eight hands) is garbed in an exclusive dual tone sari with pallu in glowing brown and the dhoti is carved in amazing pleats in golden with the corresponding mesh structured blouse; embellished with precious gold jewels that complement beautifully with her attires and the long crown glorified on her head identifies her cosmic aura along with the stylized flower aureole. Her realistic expressions of the vigilant eyes and that confident smile ready to face fears assure the devotees of their protection; the eight hands carry all her weapons of destruction and creation focusing on her holistic approach.

The crowned Kirtimukha thick arch is chiseled in lavish ethnic patterns all over with the outer layer formed in brown and golden floral-like coils and the innermost layer in a chain of circles. This statue is a trending and auspicious piece to be placed at your house or office; its distinctive color and natural carve captivate the eyes of the viewer.
