Are You Building Your Pipeline?

by Mr Man Online

Are you a person who is filling buckets or are you building a pipeline?

What if you discovered oil on your property? Would you become rich overnight? For that you need to move that oil so it can be sold and in fact let’s say you have to move it 15 miles from where you are at. Which way is fastest? 1. Filling up buckets of oil and carrying it 5 miles 2. Building a pipeline so the oil can flow the 5 miles If you’re thinking that fastest way is to build a pipeline, then you are wrong. It will be fastest once you got the pipeline built. The easiest way is to fill up buckets and carry or drive them and then come back and do it again and again. After a while carrying bucket after bucket that pipeline thought sounds like a fantastic idea! It's going to take more time and effort to build it but for the long run that oil is going to flow itself day after day, no matter where you re in the world. Sure you may have to do little work with it from time to time but there is no arguing it is the best way to go. But it's not the easiest. Let's take this example and talk about activities in your financial and business life that this can be applied to.

Examples Of Filling Up Buckets

  1. Working a job where you trade time for money If you stop working, you run out of money.  If you want more money you have to work more (you have to carry more buckets)
  2. Running a traditional business Lets say you own a franchise or other business that requires a lot of employees and overhead.  Yes you are the boss but you are married to that business and it requires to you fill up a lot of buckets to keep things running.  Yes you can get employees to fill and carry buckets that are true.  But talk to most business owners and they will tell you that their traditional business owns them.
  3. Running an Internet Marketing business where you focus on product launches Ok you ready for the dirty little secret that most Internet Marketers won't tell you?  Most online marketers focus on product launches or promotions that are one time deals.  They are constantly running from promotion to promotion to stay a head and make it work for them.  They are in essence filling buckets and sometimes they run out of buckets or their buckets disappear overnight...Google Slaps, Facebook changes, technology changes, etc.

Examples  Of Building A Pipeline

Building A Pipeline

  1. Investing in a retirement plan or long term investment strategy Most people never save any money or not enough.  Start investing a small percentage of your income each month and over time you will build a "Pipeline" of income that grows and grows.
  2. Investing in yourself and others Taking the time to work on your self-development and helping others do the same.  When people feel better about themselves, they want to accomplish more in their life and this generally leads to more financial prosperity.  This is a pipeline you should invest in
  1. Starting a home or online business that focuses on continuity, passive/residual/leveraged income Starting your own home business that has already been proven to create long term income that can grow each month with the power of leverage.  It's a great feeling to wake up in the morning and see that your business made money from work that you did months and even years ago.  It's an even better feeling to see what leverage can do for you.  One day you will wake up after your hard efforts and see thousands and thousands of others just like you that are working for the same cause...and you are getting a small piece from every one of them.  All those small pieces can had up to be HUGE.  That is the ultimate pipeline!

Is building a pipeline hard?

Yes! I will be one of the hardest thing you're going to in your life. Because it requires much discipline and focus. If you plan go for it, do it the smart way, get yourself a mentor or group of people who know have already have accomplished that what you want.
