Are Inground Pools Really Worth It?
I am a Florida girl myself, so I know how awesome inground pools are! These are great, not only for the summer seasons to have fun, sun bathe around in, and just relax in, but they also add value to your existing home. For a lot of people, when it comes to inground pools, they simply don't have an option. They either live in an area that doesn't allow inground pools or they don't have room for one. But, if you do you should really think about adding one on.
Even a smaller one is a great way to have fun and add value to your house in case you ever plan to sell it in the future. There are usually two types of swimming pools. There are the inground swimming pools and the above ground. The inground pools are a concrete swimming pool with or without retaining walls design. The retaining walls design has two different objectives. The first objective, which was noted on Wikipedia, is:
"A retaining wall is a structure designed and constructed to resist the lateral pressure of soil when there is a desired change in ground elevation that exceeds the angle of repose of the soil."
So in essence it is used to "retain" or contain any soil, dirt or rocks you might have on your property from going into your pool. However, people also use retaining walls design when they build swimming pool for another objective - as a back drop design. This is something my dad decided to build after he had contractors install his pool. Now it looks like something you would see out of a ritzy home improvement magazine.
The styles of the retaining walls design vary immensely. Everything from plain and simple to lush and luxurious - it really depends on your style and what you want your inground pools to look like! Inground pools, as mention earlier, can bring value to your home. Let's be honest, when looking at a home that has room for a pool versus looking for a house that already has a pool, most normal people are more than willing to pay the extra few thousand dollars on the home purchase if it has a pool already installed.
The reason… Well, it’s pretty simple. You spend the money and the time and they get to reap the benefits. That is quite honestly how a lot of home owners see this!
