Frankly, it is really hard to please employees. Unless your company has an exemplary working environment, there will always be some who are not satisfied with all supposedly employee-friendly policies. Companies, both large and small, try to have a minimum attrition rate and a longer relationship with the current employees.

When almost every sphere of work is revolutionized by the use of technology, how can the factor of employee satisfaction stay behind? Welcome to the world of enterprise mobility!

The term typical 9-5 job bears a sense of boring and orthodox way of work. Given the connectivity that we get now-a-days, remote work is getting more and more popular option both for an organization and its employees.

In the wake of enterprise mobility, the concept of CYOD (Carry Your Own Device) is giving way to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). The former allows an employee to choose a device that the company offers while the latter adds a bit more flexibility in choosing the device as in this model an employee can use any device (even her or his personal smartphone) for the work. Employees just need a software or app to interact with the needed data and information and hence, be productive on the move.

Data Security has long been a concern for the companies not willing to embrace enterprise mobility for all the benefits it extends. The shared pool of resources definitely makes it difficult to raise security boundaries, but the rise of cloud computing and SaaS (Software as a Service) have sidelined these concerns in the favor of other factors that directly or indirectly impacts the bottom line of an organization positively.

Actually the benefits of enterprise apps extend well beyond freeing an employee from traditional cubicle work. Enterprise apps enable your sales department to track leads in a better way and allows them to save and access information in the real-time. These applications make the movement of data within an organization easy and effective.

The concept of “Work from anywhere” doesn’t really restrict itself to freelancing and other contracts based jobs. It is increasingly getting the mainstream in well-established organization and for good.

When working doesn’t limit you to your cubicle, the world becomes a workplace. The obvious disadvantage- now carrying work to home is increasingly easier, but if you put effective plans in place, the enterprise apps are there to make you more productive than ever.
