In this article we have gathered three tricks of Facebook Ads that you would like to know.

Facebook Ads is one of the most powerful advertising tools, along with Google AdWords, that currently exist. It allows you to create your ad, choose your text, image, and decide who you want to see it.

In that line, it is possible to emphasize the incredible possibilities that Ads Ads offers to segment our public. This is how Facebook Ads allows you to choose exactly who you want to see your advertising. The levels of segmentation are very detailed, and in this article we will tell you three curiosities of segmentation of audiences that will be very useful when preparing your campaign.

#1. Facebook Ads cheats: show ads to a particular page

The first is the possibility that offers Facebook Ads that your ads are displayed to App Development Company in Dubai of a particular Facebook page. We explain how:

Step 1:

Go to the Audiences section to get started. If you're using Ad Manager, you'll need to go to the Tools> Audiences tab, as it appears in the image. If you use the Power Editor, click directly on the Audiences tab.

Step 2:

Once in this tab, we click on the "Create Public" button. In the Ads Manager, the button is blue and is on the left; In the Power Editor is green and is on the right.

In both cases, when you click, choose the option "Saved Audience".

Step 3:

Whether you're using Ad Manager or Power Editor, you'll get a window like this.

Fill in the data according to your preferences: the age of the group you want to target, the population and even the language spoken by your audience. Also choose a name for your audience that describes you. For example, "Web Development Company in Dubai", this way you can identify quickly. If you call it "Public 1" it will be difficult for you to remember what exact characteristics you assigned to that audience.

In this same window, at the bottom there is a section called "Detailed Segmentation". That's where we'll choose which Facebook pages and interests we want to target. Write it. We show you with examples:

As we see in the image, we can address all those people who have shown interest or who still hold it for Coca-Cola.

If we want to add more interests or pages, it will suffice to re-type in the search engine what we need, as in this case people who are interested or have been in the Social Media Examiner blog.

Following the example above, our ads will be displayed to young Madridians between the ages of 25 and 35 who have shown or are interested in Coca-Cola O (important, O) by the Social Media Examiner.

Once all parameters have been chosen and detailed, you will see the summary and estimated reach of the audience that you want to address, as you can see in the image below. Then click save and create!

Important note: NOT all the pages that exist in Facebook we will find in the search engine according to interests. The "science" of Facebook does not know what it is and what makes some pages appear and others do not. Therefore, if you are looking for a page that does not appear, it is not that you are doing wrong, we simply do not have possibility to use it in Facebook Ads.

#2. Facebook Ads Tricks: exclude people and demote public

Very linked to the previous step, there is a relatively new functionality of Facebook in terms of saved audiences that is very interesting to further segment our audience.

Follow the same steps as in the previous point, until you reach, as before, the Detailed Segmentation (Interests) part.

Once there, note that at the bottom there are two options: Exclude public and demarcate public.

Let's see what each one consists of.

Exclude people:

In the case of excluding people, we will use it when we do not want our audience to like certain interest. That is, our audience likes Coca-Cola or Social Media Examiner, but we want you to exclude from all this group those who have shown interest or like, for example, SEO Company in Dubai.

You will see that the more exclusive aspects you add, the smaller your potential audience will become.

This is a good way of eliminating the public that we are not interested in. For example, if I am going to announce a weekend in the mountain to disconnect for singles, I will exclude from my target audience the users who live with family with children.
