Angie Everhart marries Carl Ferro in scenic sunset wedding
Angie Everhart, who according to Esquire is “the only redheaded supermodel who really matters,” married fiancé Carl Ferro in Santa Monica, California on Saturday. This is Angie’s second marriage.
Everhart and Ferro recited their original vows on the beach at sunset reported Us Weekly, a fitting backdrop for the former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. The 45-year-old wore a strapless lace dress accented by a tulle skirt.
The picturesque scene for the ceremony, adorned by a white aisle with gold chairs and abundant floral arrangements of white roses, was filmed for bridal planner David Tutera’s CELEBrations, which will air sometime in 2015 on We TV.
Kayden, Angie Everhart’s 5-year-old son, “gave his mom away,” as his new stepsister, JoAnn, led the way down the aisle with flower petals as flower girl. According toPeople Carl Ferro is the president and co-founder ofSunfare, a meal delivery service located in Los Angeles and Phoenix.
Ferro proposed to Everhart in a Redbury Hotel elevator in Hollywood on April 22, the same spot the couple shared their first kiss, according to her Twitter post shortly after he asked. "My man @CarlFerro1 proposed to me tonight in the exact spot where we had our first kiss! I'm beyond happy!" Angie turned to social media once more, tweeting wedding day bliss, “My family is in town…so good to see my sister. Happy to become a Mrs. F... He is my Man.”
Angie Everhart married Ashley Hamilton (son of George) on December 1, 1996. The marriage didn’t last one year. They divorced in March of 1997. She was engaged to actor Joe Pesci, 26 years her senior, in 2007, but broke it off in 2008. She gave birth to her only child, Kayden, (from an ex-boyfriend) on July 24, 2009. Angie Everhart was treated for thyroid cancer in 2013.
