Billions and billions of devices are already running Android and it is one of the most popular operating systems of all time. Manufacturers like Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, Asus, etc use Android as their primary operating system in their smartphones. Talking about Android, Android is a very capable operating system. The main difference between Android and iOS is that Android is 100 percent free and open-source, meaning that you can easily edit every single line of line code of Android and make changes as you wish. You might be already aware of custom skins like MIUI, one UI, etcetera which is a different skin for which different versions of Android which is actually built on top of the original Android. These Android versions are exclusively available for smartphones. And you cannot just simply install it on your PC anywhere. This is where android-based PC OS Like Remix OS and Phoenix OS comes into play. So these are simple pc-based Android operating system that comes with all the necessary features like support for keyboard, use of a mouse, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Etc to make you feel that you are you actually using Android but with a ton features discussed above.

Android emulators and android-based PC OS are completely different. Android emulators are simple to a program that is to be installed inside of our operating systems like Windows Mac or Linux. but talking about Android this PC OS, it is a standalone stable operating system that can be used instead of Windows or alongside. You can dual boot it with Windows and use it together. So first, let's talk about remix OS.

I felt Remix OS is the best Android-based PC OS when it comes to the functionalities features and other necessary things that you will ever need in an operating system like this. It is part of the Android x86 project and you can easily install it on your device. So you have multiple options to install Remix OS on your PC. The first one is to burn the ISO file to your USB thumb drive and then use it. While the USB device is plugged into your computer. So it literally means then you can only boot into remix os only if you have already inserted the pen drive into the USB port. now the second option is to actually install the remix OS into your hard drive itself. Now you can replace windows or Linux and completely dedicate the whole partition for remix Os or you can even dual boot Remix OS with Windows or Linux side by side which I think is better for starters so that you can learn more about remix OS and it features and you can later decide if you want to make remix OS your primary operating system or not. So that's for Remix OS.

Phoenix OS

Now let's talk about Phoenix OS .talking about it, it is quite similar to remix OS and all the features are standard across the platform. You will get options for keyboard shortcuts + like Ctrl + V Ctrl + X, CTRL +P, etc. You can use Mouse pointer, You can resize Windows, you can minimize windows, open multiple apps in multiple windows and you can do multitasking. You can connect to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and whatnot. And the one thing that I like the most It comes with Google play store installed by default. So if you want to install some sort of app, then you can just hit on the Play Store icon and search for the app name and then go ahead and install it. That's it. That's how simple it is. You can download the Phoenix OS installation file from its official website and install it on your PC. The installation procedure is pretty simple like remix OS you can have two options one is to use it with your USB drive. And other one is to install it in your hard drive and then use it. It will support to both the Intel and AMD processors with no problems there.

For smooth performing performance of Remix OS and Phoenix OS. I will recommend you guys to have your system meet the below requirements. You should at least have a dual-core CPU. I would pressure and I3 or equivalent of AMD CPU or more you should have at least four gigs of RAM for smoother processing and at least 20 GB of hard disk space left. So these are the basic criteria is that you need to install this app OS in your PC? So yeah, that's it for this article. You can download the setup file and other necessary guide on their website and you can start using it right away.
