Android apps and their market

by Hazel Langer Carpooling Script

Well, we see of new apps flooding the app market every single day. There are utility apps, multimedia apps, gaming apps and what not. However, not a lot of thought has been put into how people earn from these apps. Obviously certain apps are paid ones so every time someone downloads these apps they get paid, however what about the millions of the free apps that are available today?

There are many kinds of apps. Each with a different formula of earning more. These apps are sometimes simply promotional and sometimes have a pretty complex working. Let’s find out.

Pushy apps

Some apps are simply the pushy ones. You download these apps for free only to find out that their primary function is to push the users towards the main website. This means that the traffic on their website continues to increase as more and more people use their apps.

Useful apps

Some apps are actually useful and yet FREE. These apps mostly come with a ‘lite’ version which is for free with a value added version which is paid. This app mostly works on the merit of itself. If you like how the app is then you wouldn’t mind paying a little more to get all the enhanced features. The byproduct of such apps is of course greater traffic (even if the paid version isn’t bought).

Ad apps

Some apps are utterly useless. They would otherwise be great but they focus less on user satisfaction and more on pushing their users towards the ads that flash on them. Of course they work on the pay per click model so even if you click on an ad by mistake while using this app, then the app maker gets paid.

A good business for a user friendly app

There are some apps for certain businesses which are completely useless. However, some apps can be very practical and be used effectively if the design is great. One such example is the Carpool Android App Script. Since android is the largest app market today it makes sense creating an android app, but an even better bargain is to simply purchase a carpool android apps script or rideshare android app clone.

This gives you the leverage of simply owning an app without indulging (monetarily or time wise) towards the necessary research. Since there is already a pre existing market all set for the Rideshare Android App Clone, you don’t even need to push the target audience towards it.

How does the app work?

This app is pretty simple, really. It allows car owners (in a particular area or as much as you want your business’s expanse) to upload the details of their car along with other specifics such as which route do they take, how many seats are they willing to offer, are they pet friendly or not and so on and so forth into the app. Now when someone is looking for a ride, they can simply open the app and search rides based on their location, route and other personal preferences. Once they like a car, they book it with the help of the app then and there!
