Andaman truly is a heaven on Earth. Everyone who visits here is left mesmerized with the beauty and adventure it has to offer. Andaman for sure has a lot to offer to the travelers and yes, it does not only remain as a honeymoon centric location with lots of options for backpackers.

Predominantly Andaman has always been considered as a perfect destination for honeymoon couples or for family holidays. But it has a lot to offer to solo travelers too.The capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands is Port Blair, which is nestled towards the eastern side of the South Andaman Island. And this place comes up as a connecting spot from where you can travel to different destinations.

It is a stopover or changing point of Andaman; you can spend here one day and cover the important spots in the city which include a visit to Cellular Jail, Munda Pahar Beach, Chidiya Tapu, and Museums. The place is absolutely nominal and you can get diversified eating options here (from small to big restaurants).

Diglipur, is a small yet quaint town located in North Andaman Islands. If you wish to visit here, you can take a ferry or bus ride to Diglipur. It is a place worth the visit for off-beat travelers and nature lovers. A harmonious yet peaceful alternative to the tourist-centric locations is what Diglipur is known as. Here you can visit Kalipur beach which is a beautiful yet lesser known beach of Andaman.
It is characterized by the rock formations in and around the beach. Not only this, the beach is also famous for turtle nesting site, which attracts many tourists during December and January (time when thousands of turtles descend to the beach to lay their eggs).

Ross and Smith Island is another exotic destination of Andaman. The special feature about these Islands is that you will experience low tide during the day, and this makes a connecting path for both Islands and they appear as one Single Island after sunset. During the night, water comes up and separates the two Islands.
The views you get from here is simply gorgeous and scenic. It is a perfect destination for candid photographers in Andaman.

You can also visit the Saddle Peak, which is the highest point (723 meters) in the Andaman Islands. Once you reach the top, you will be enthralled with the incredible views of the Andaman.

Havelock Island is at a distance of around 90 minutes if you travel through ferry from Port Blair. On reaching here you are welcomed by the illuminating sunshine sparkling on the white sand beaches. Havelock is the best tourist destination of Andaman owning to the turquoise blue waters and wonderful views. Visit Kala Pathar Beach, and as the name suggests, it is surrounded by back rocks, that stand on the beaches white powdery sand.

Another worth visiting destination here is Radhanagar beach which is magnificent and will leave you awestruck with its enormity and grandeur. The beach was once voted as the best beach in Asia by Time magazine, but it has not lost its charm a bit till date. This is a must visit destination if you are coming to Andaman. You can also go for scuba diving experience here and trust us you will love it.
