An Overview of Video Streaming Devices

In today's era, the media content is primarily routed through streaming services. Such services are based on the internet connections, which are persistent over the world. 3.      Low bandwidth access: The equipment uses very less bandwidth, as compared to equipment manufactured by other companies.

4.      Automatic Conversion: The Matrox HD and Matrox HDX automatically convert recorded files into the selected format. As of now, only three presets, i.e. WOV, MP4 and H.264 are available; however, newer ones will be added with a firmware update.

5.      Firmware Updates: When connected to the internet, the Matrox HD and Matrox HDX devices’ firmware can be upgraded. This will allow for installation of new features without having to change the device itself.

6.      Multiple Channel Streaming: As the device includes two encoders, a person will be able to stream and record live shows from two different channels at the same time.

7.      GUI: The easy to use graphical user interface of Matrox HD and Matrox HDX device makes it a perfect solution for the needs of every age category. Non-tech enthusiasts need not worry about configuring servers, as GUI will help them do so.
