An Inside Look at the 2017 Ford Escape
Ford vehicles are some of the best-selling in Utah and nationwide. With an industry presence that spans nearly a hundred years the brand has become synonymous with reliability, functionality and quality. The 2017 Escape refresh is a reflection of the automaker’s continued dedication to its consumers.
Dealers won’t begin selling the model until Spring 2016 but the 2017 Escape has already made its debut at the 2015 L.A. Auto Show. At the show the automaker boasted a bold, new design, a more spacious interior, improved technology and fuel efficient engines.
The 2017 Escape has a sharper exterior than previous models. The new model features LED headlights, a larger grill, new wheels and bolder body lines that are sure to turn heads while driving in Utah. The interior of the vehicle has been improved for storage space as well as passenger and driver comfort.
In addition to bodywork Ford re-worked the interior and center console of the 2017 model to create more space. The auto maker incorporated additional cup holders, a slot for mobile devices, improved arm rests as well as an electronic emergency brake says Autoblog.com, an internet based auto news website.
Dealers can expect a lot of hype over the added safety and tech features of the 2017 Escape when it officially lands on their lots in Utah and nationwide this year. Not only does the SUV/Crossover feature the redesigned Sync 3 infotainment system, Automobile.com an auto news website, says it also features a “heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning and a Sync Connect smartphone app that can unlock the doors, start the engine and show the car’s fuel level.”
The auto maker also made adjustments to the engine options available on the 2017 Ford Escape. Dealers will now feature the vehicle with several engine options including a 1.5 liter turbo-four, a turbocharged 2.0-four or a 2.5 liter standard four-cylinder engine. The 1.5 liter and 2.0 liter engines are both Ecoboost engines that will improve fuel economy, says Automoile.com.
The auto news source says the overall driving experience in the 2017 Escape has changed. The new model boasts improved noise control technology as well as suspension improvements that make driving a new Escape an even smoother and more comfortable experience.
For consumers in Utah looking to purchase a brand new 2017 Ford Escape from dealers this spring you can rest assured that your purchase will have the most up to date safety and tech features and will also save you money at the pump.
