The U-Tapao Airport is located 30 km from Pattaya but most tourists choose the bigger Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok which is approx 120 km away. There are cabs using which you can reach Pattaya from the airport.

Pattaya has a typical tropical climate much like rest of Thailand and the ideal time for visiting is from November to February. The weather remains pleasant in these months. If you want to evade crowd and chaos, ensure you book Pattaya tour package between June to October. The monsoon months are when you can find cheaper accommodation and the beaches remain less congested. Between March to May, the weather is hot and humid and tourist influx remains on higher side.
