An Exercise A Day Keeps Fat Away
For many, age is the culprit for fat accumulation. What they don’t know is, the activities we choose to do everyday plays the deciding factor if we’ll gain, maintain or lose weight. The more we age, the more we stay away with physical activities. Not unless you are gifted with a slim body structure or fast metabolism, you are not exempted from making an effort to exercise.
You can never be too busy to try at least a combination of two to three exercise routines a day. Regardless of your field or industry, it is up to you how you can sweat your fats out. Again, never settle for skipping meals or just accepting that growing old fat is your destiny.
Here are a few simple tips to age sexily and fit:
Walking
If you can’t find a place or time to jog, then a good replacement for this is walking. A brisk walk every morning or in the afternoon can do the magic. Instead of dropping in front of your office building, why not drop a street away and walk from there instead. It doesn’t have to be a 5 kilometer walk, the important thing here is that you take additional steps from your usual routine. Doing so can also awaken your senses, and your entire body as well, which is a good start for your day.
During free time or every after meal, make it a habit to walk around for a few minutes. Just staying at your seat, working and eating the entire day is one of the surest ways to build up belly fats. Also, do sit straight to strengthen your inner core.
Stretching
Stretching is one of the easiest exercises you can’t afford to miss that even while lying in your bed, you can do one. Extend your arms sidewards, downwards, forward while sipping your tea or coffee. Also, when sitting at the comforts of your workstation, bend your neck and waist sidewards to shake off your sleepy head. You can also try doing lunges or squats while taking a bath.
Stop procrastinating. A minute or two is much better than nothing at all. You can’t expect to lose weight or maintain your beach body figure without doing anything. Like the cliche’, if there’s a will, there’s a way. Avoid making excuses and start moving now. Whining will do you no good, rather it will only make you look old and pathetic.
