American Opera Singer and Tech Entrepreneur, Ja'Nese Jean has performed on stages from North Carolina to the Republic of Austria. Born Desilya Denson (March 16, 1984), this Albany GA. native won first place in Aretha Franklin's "Next Big Opera Star" competition and was offered a recording contract with Aretha Records. The Queen of Soul calls Ja'Nese "Her New Favorite Opera Singer" comparing her to the great Leontyne Price. Ja'Nese's career is widely centered around simplicity and her love for people. Her humanitarian efforts has resulted in helping over 17k citizens with housing, food, and other essential resources. Through organizations like: STARS Community Outreach Inc., Habitat for Humanity, Open Hand and many more. Her outreach efforts also resulted in the creation of a Valentines Day mission called #LoveThyNeighbor. The mission, geared to providing random acts of kindness for the homeless, went viral via social media and expanded to over 26 cities. She's the founder of STARS Social Club, a digital membership based organization for professionals which boosts a membership total of well over 100k members along with 3 subsidiary businesses. It's the largest social club on the east coast grossing 1.3 million in membership dues it's first year. The companies are operated by herself and other members. Awarded Atlanta Voice 50 under 50 entrepreneur of the year. Atlanta Voice is the oldest new publication in the State of GA.
