Allegiant Air Cancellation Policy
Canceling a flight you've been looking forward to can be
painful, especially since you may have to pay more for it. If you find yourself
in a situation where you need to cancel your Allegiant reservation, it's worth
understanding Allegiant's
cancellation policy to save time and money.
Alleged revocation policy due to COVID-19
Allegiant's recall policy in response to the COVID-19
pandemic is as follows:
Flexible tickets without trips
If you have purchased a ticket (without Trip Flex travel
protection) before April 30. At 11:59 p.m., you can cancel your order without
penalty. If you cancel your ticket, you will receive a credit coupon from
Allegiant, the value of which will be the value of the ticket for future
travel, but will not be refunded.
If you purchased your ticket (without Trip Flex travel
protection) after May 1. At 12:00, you will be able to cancel your flight for a
temporarily reduced rate of $25 per passenger/segment. If you cancel your
ticket, you will receive a credit coupon from Allegiant, but you will not
receive a refund.
Flexible travel tickets
Cancellation fees will not apply to any airline ticket that
includes Trip Flex travel protection.
You can only use your Trip Flex ticket to cancel once.
If you cancel within 24 hours by phone through the customer
service department, you will be refunded. However, if you cancel your order
online, you will be issued an Allegiant Credit Voucher.
Note
Allegiant credit coupons issued through April 10 are valid
for 1 year (365 days) from the original order date. Credit coupons issued after
April 10 are valid for 2 years (730 days) from the original order date.
All credit coupons are non-refundable and non-transferable.
