All You Need to Know About the Pandemic Coronavirus
by Dynamix Group WriterThe new Coronavirus, originated
in Wuhan, China, took a horrifying shape and was declared a pandemic by the
World Health Organisation on 11th March 2020. This highly contagious virus was
first discovered in November. A 55-year-old
individual from Hubei, China had contracted the virus and it soon became
global.
At the time of this global
crisis, it is important for people to take proper care and stay safe. Using
sanitizers, soaps, surgical scrubs, and other disinfectants will
help people to survive. Also, the government is taking strict measures to
control the situation.
What is the Corona Virus?
The coronavirus is
a large family of viruses that is incurable with regular antibiotics. Getting
infected from this virus can result in many respiratory infections including
common cold to Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute
Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). COVID 19(Co- Corona; Vi- Virus; D-Disease; 2019)
first broke out in China and then spread across the world.
To date, no proper
medicine has been found that cures coronavirus. However, many clinical trials
and researches are being carried on that include both traditional and western
medicine. No vaccine, drug or treatment proved to be useful for curing COVID
19. If you feel that medical help is required, don’t take medicines on your
own. Visit a doctor as soon as possible.
Initially, the virus spread from
seafood and the live animal market in Wuhan, China. It was suggested the virus
spreads from animal-to-human. However, later when people who were not exposed
to that market started showing symptoms, it indicated person-to-person spread.
Almost all countries across the globe have been exposed to this virus by now.
Symptoms of COVID 19
The most common symptoms found in
a COVID 19 patient are tiredness, fever, and dry cough. In some cases, patients
have experienced pains and aches, running nose, nasal congestion, diarrhoea or
sore throat as well. Initially, only mild symptoms appear but with time, they
become more evident. In a few cases, it has been found that infected people
hardly develop any symptoms at all.
It is estimated that most of the
people affected (nearly 80%) recover from this disease and do not require any
special treatment. In every 6 people, only 1 person falls seriously ill.
Mostly, people who have a weak immune system or some medical conditions like
heart problems, high blood pressure, or diabetes are more likely to get
affected. Anyone who is suffering from fever, cough and/or difficulty breathing
should visit a doctor immediately. Make sure to take proper care of yourself
and your family. Use sanitizers and scrubs with you all the time. If you want
