● The first step in preparing a block is to find the right material for carving the design, usually its plane or pine wood.

● After finding the right material a wooden block is prepared by sticking different pieces of that material together to give it a thick size.

● After which it’s smoothening is done.

● Then finally the design is hand made on this block which is a very delicate and difficult task.

Printing process -- Then by the help of various different kinds of such blocks a single beautiful outfit is made which again is a very difficult task and requires a lot of skill and time.
