All Power Is From Within
It would be impossible to list all of the things people have considered crucial to success in life. If you doubt it, just check around and find out how uncomfortable the average person is in performing this simple, basic act. They know that a written goal, unlike a misty dream or hope, is a contract between your conscious and subconscious mind. A written goal is half-way between a thought and a reality, marking the way to the future. To a large degree, your chances to succeed in life will be in direct proportion to your capacity to maintain a level of relaxed concentration, under mental or emotional stress. The depths of this trance state vary.
The power of concentration is mental exercises it let you tune in to yourself within. Distractions are let go, and your mind power is increased. The exercises help you think more clearly and concentrate better. The best news is that they are easier than you might think to learn. Anytime you are stressed, stop, and carefully watch yourself to identify what's bothering you. You may be expecting something to happen, or perhaps there is an argument going on just below the surface of your consciousness, or you're worried about something, or in discomfort in some way. Notice everything you can. This self-observation is crucial. It will get easier as you do it more. You'll start to realize just how many things are going on in your own thoughts, distracting you. Now deal with these mind-irritants.
A Better Mental exercise is sit down, relax and breath deeply through your nose. Try for the next fifteen minutes to half an hour in silence to be completely still. Let your eyes close and be aware of your breath going in and out calmly. Let your thoughts wander as they may, your purpose to control your body. Move your attention to your body, one part at a time, noting sensations of cold, hot, tight, sore and anything else you identify. After a few minutes, start listening to sounds in the room, without thinking about them. Just listen, while still maintaining an awareness of your body and your breath.
In fifteen minutes or so, or when it feels right, open your eyes and look around as if you are seeing for the first time. Let your eyes rest on an object for half a minute, examining it without talking about it in your mind. Then move to another object, and another, while still maintaining an awareness of your body, your breathing, and any sounds. Just stay in this state of thought for a few minutes, until you are ready to get up.
When you are aware of your body, breath and immediate enviroment, you are more fully "in the moment." Your mind is in a receptive state, with fewer mental distractions that can prevent clear thinking. An exercise like this before important mental tasks will give you greater mental power, specifically more focus and concentration. Life is an unfoldment, not accretion. What comes to us in the world without is what we already possess in the world within. When we begin to feel lost or confused about various aspects of our lives, our first instinct is to search for direction. We feel sure that the answers we need are out there somewhere, and finding them will help us to know the right way to turn.
While seeking advice and guidance from others can be helpful at times, it is not always the best way to help ourselves. Rather than relying on someone else to tell us our truth, we can instead choose to look within and find the answers inside ourselves. Each of us has been given the gift of an inner advisor that will never steer us wrong. This inner advisor is not pushy. However, the powers within will not speak up unless we ask for help. When we finally open our hearts and minds to hear what our inner advisor has to say, the wisdom will begin to flow freely and our lives will begin to change for the better.
