It has honored as "Garden of Excellence" by the World Federation of Rose Societies (WFRS) in 2006.
Doddabetta Peak- It is highest peak point of the Nilagiri Mountain and stands at an altitude of 2,623 meters. The name ‘Doddabetta’ means ‘big mountain’ in ‘kannda’ language. There is a ‘Telescope house’ that is run by the TamilNadu Tourism Development Corporation for better view of mountain ranges and forest.
Tea Factory or Tea museum- It is located amid the blue hills of Nilgiris Mountain and must visit place of Tea lovers.
