All India Law Entrance Test 2016

All India Law Entrance Test (AILET 2016) is a national common Law exam, conducted by National Law University (NLU), Delhi. AILET exam is to admission into the various Law courses such as BA, LLB (Hons), LLM and Ph. D courses. National Law of University was conducting this AILET exam with 26 research centers like center for cyber laws, center for disaster management and law, center for right of tribal, center for training faculty, center for gender injustice, etc. All India Law Entrance Test 2016 (AILET 2016) examination will be conduct on 1st May 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2016:

To apply for the AILET 2016 examination, candidate required minimum qualification for applying and appearing in the law entrance test of National Law University, Delhi.

The Eligibility Criteria is different for Undergraduates and Postgraduates, i.e.

UG Admission to B.A L.L.B (Hons) Courses:

• Candidate has to fill application form with all the required details.

• Candidate must complete his/her higher secondary education with recognized board.

• To apply for the AILET 2016 exam, the application must have scored minimum 50% of marks in their higher secondary examination.

• For General Category, applicant must be below 21 years of age on July 1st 2015

• For SC/ST applicant’s age is up to 23 years.

• Applicants who are in 12th standard also eligible to apply AILET 2016 Exam.

PG Admission to L.L.M Course:

• To apply this exam, candidate must be completed his/her LLB degree (UG degree) in a recognized university.

• Candidate must have scored minimum 55% of marks in their LLB (UG degree) for General Category students and 50% of marks for SC/ST category students.

Seat Reservation for AILET 2016:

• For B.A.L.L.B (Hons) Five Year program, among the 80 seats, there are 70 seats for Merit through All India Law Entrance Test and 10 seats for the Direct Admission of foreign nations through Merit.

• L.M (One Year) Program, 20 seats are available for Merit List and 5 seats for foreign Nations through Merit.
