1.       Li-Ion batteries are smaller and lighter in weight hence are typically used in portable devices.

 

2.       Due to a higher density of energy, a Li-Ion battery features higher capacity and hence is widely used in power-hungry devices.

 

3.       In comparison with different sorts of batteries, a Li-Ion battery has a pretty lower self-discharge rate. (Around 1.5 percent per month). Lower self-discharge rate means that these batteries have longer shelf-life.

 

4.       Any sort of Li-Ion battery like curved lithium polymer battery recharges quickly when compared to other types of power cells available on the market.

 

5.       This type of batteries lasts longer than other sorts of cells. As per reports, a Li-Ion battery can be able to retain its capacity even after 100 recharging cycles. Few of such batteries say PHD Lithium Ion battery can lose only 30 percent of their capacity even after 1000 recharging cycles.
