All about Hitachi AC's Xpandable+ Feature

by Aadrsh Solanki Manager

In its endeavour to set new benchmarks for energy-efficient, comfortable, and clean cooling technologies, Hitachi Cooling & Heating India has recently launched its airHome Inverter AC series for the country’s rising feature-seeking consumer population. Redefining the cool, clean, cost-saving, and comfort aspects of air conditioning, Hitachi’s new airHome Inverter series is all set to take the consumer expectations to the next level.

Hitachi AC's Xpandable+ feature is designed to enhance the cooling experience for users. This feature is available in Hitachi's Yoshi, iZen & Toushi+ inverter split AC series. Expandable Inverter ACs can increase their compressor’s rotation per minute (RPM) automatically, from the standard-rated RPM, after certain ambient condition outside and load requirements inside the room, allowing better performance than any other non-tropical Inverter AC.

The Xpandable+ feature works by using a unique technology that allows the AC to expand its capacity to meet the cooling requirements of the room. This technology involves the use of a compressor that can increase or decrease its cooling capacity depending on the temperature inside the room. This allows the AC to adjust its cooling capacity according to the size of the room and the number of people present in the room.

The Xpandable+ feature provides several benefits to users.

Firstly, it helps to ensure that the AC is always providing optimal cooling performance. By adjusting its cooling capacity according to the temperature and the size of the room, the AC is able to maintain a consistent and comfortable temperature inside the room.

Second, the Xpandable+ feature helps to save energy and reduce electricity bills. By adjusting its cooling capacity according to the requirements of the room, the AC is able to operate more efficiently, which helps to reduce energy consumption and save money.

Third, by operating at a lower capacity using the Xpandable+ feature, when the cooling requirements are lower, the AC can reduce the wear and tear on its components, which helps to reduce the need for repairs.
