Air Purifiers Certainly Drive out Pollutants

A good life entails fresh air among many other things. We humans benefit a lot from fresh air because it not only keeps us cool and rejuvenated but also stays completely harmless when compared to water or land – the former is often found contaminated and germinated while the latter is known to house germs, bacteria, fungi that cause fevers, lesions, spores, blisters, infections etc.

Why the comparison?

It’s quite simple really: You won’t find fresh air anywhere these days – the cliché of breathing fresh air in the early mornings does not exist. The world today breathes polluted air that houses poisonous gases, allergens and pollutants. Some examples include globules and particulates of dust, pollen, dander, fungi, sulphur dioxide etc. They do more than their capability when it comes to causing horrible diseases and infections.

Why am I reading this?

Have you taken a look outside the window? It’s raining or the skies are overcast. Although, cool air comes in through an open window but you can be rest-assured that it is a storehouse of pollutants and allergens. So, the ‘air outside is causing the air inside to become polluted’. You are on the losing side with this polluted air bringing forth an extremely unwelcome array of health-related problems, primarily, eye infections and irritations.

I still don’t get it. How about explaining further?

Sure. For starters, the pollutants that we are talking about here are primarily airborne particles; therefore, they can easily enter the otherwise clean ambience of your homes. Then, the carpets, rugs, furniture etc. hold contaminants that need only an encouraging medium to spread disaster – which, in this case, happens to be moist air. With the temperature being comfortable outside, the situation inside, frankly speaking, is extremely uncomfortable.

Therefore, your home is most likely to have become a storehouse of the following allergens:

Mold and Mildew – they are the partners-in-crime and the main adversaries for your health, especially in damp and moist surroundings
Insect Excreta – Insect excreta, remains hidden in barely visible places and have an appalling potential of polluting the indoor air
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) – They are given off by carpets, wall paints, plastics, and glues

So, my home is not a safe haven?

To be honest, it won’t be unless you take corrective actions and measures, for instance, installing air purifiers like the Blueair Sense+.

What is an air purifier and how will it help?

An air purifier is a device which removes air pollutants from the air through an HEPA filter. This filter contains a fine mesh that traps particulates as the air flows through it. The capability of this filter can be measured in terms of the fact that pollutants measuring as small as 0.3 µm can be easily removed.

Airborne pollutants and the ones sneaking behind carpets and rugs are sought out with a vengeance. Designed to remove 99.97 per cent of pollutants, air purifiers are the ideal solution for staying free of eye infections and other issues stemming from moist, polluted air within your home.
