Trekking Route
When you reach Munsiyari from Almora your trekking begins. It is a five hour trek from Munsiyari to Lilam and then another five and a half hour trek to Bugdiar. From Bugdiar you have to take the route t reach Martoli within six hours. From Martoli a trek of about 3000 metres will reach you to Naspanpati and from there you will finally reach the Nanda Devi base camp. From Nanda Devi base camp you have to return to Lwani for your Milam Glacier trek. It will take more or less 28 hours to reach Milam glacier if you take a single break. If you follow this route your trek will be completed without any unnecessary journey ad extra costing.
Cost inclusions and exclusions
Generally, n a standard trekking in Milam Glacier and Nanda Devi costs in a package includes accommodation in hotels and cottages, whichever is available, major meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks), permits and entry passes, English speaking guides, road transportation wherever possible, camping gears including tents and sleeping mattresses. During the trekking the travelers may have to share the tent in twin basis.
In general the cost of a standard package does not include any alcoholic beverage, horse carriage for trekking, personal insurance and additional meal.
