Actress Anna Moore: Indulging in Various Careers

Indulging in a job you love is a fantastic experience - but what if you find yourself leaning towards other fields that have caught your attention?

American actress, singer/songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur Anna Moore was someone who went through a similar experience. From a very young age, she was convinced that acting was her calling after she starred as Mowgli in a Berkeley Regional Theater production of The Jungle Book. However, her future had a surprise in store for her.

In her pursuit to become the best actress she could be, she polished her skills at New York University’s Tisch School of Arts. She eventually made her feature film debut in 2007 when she starred in the dramatic feature film 'The Life Before Her Eyes' with highly acclaimed artists such as Uma Thurman, Evan Racheal Wood, Director Vadim Perelman, and many more. Eventually, this lead to her many roles in other entertainment works such as feature films 'Fighting Fish,' ‘I’m Charlie Walker,’ and popular TV shows 'Criminal Minds, ' and ‘Law & Order.’  Eventually, her skills were rewarded when she won the 'Outstanding Achievement Award for Best Actress' for her lead performance as Alice in feature film 'Fighting Fish' at the New York Vision Film Festival.

However, acting wasn't the only career she was invested in. She had also shown a lot of interest in politics and hence, works as a community activist who is active in advocating her political beliefs. And she didn't stop there either.

With successes piling up from her acting career, she decided to branch out her experience and eventually decided to try her hand in the music industry. Consequently, we will witness the exciting moment when her single 'I Got Soul ft. SriKala’ will be dropping in 2021, which will be featured in her upcoming film 'I'm Charlie Walker,’ and which will be a part of a hip hop compilation album, '13th Amendment,’ alongside hip hop legends KRS-One and Chuck D.

All her experiences in different fields have helped Anna grow into a better version of herself and find parts of herself which she had never known. In fact, her story has intrigued many people on why she opted for multiple simultaneous career choices - and here is what she had to share in response.

Exposure 

Putting herself out there in different entertainment fields allowed her to witness the vast glory of other professional areas involved in the sector she was working with. She started to learn new things, which resulted in helping her grow as an actress and more.

She felt that going out of her comfort zone allowed her to understand where she stood and how she could avail opportunities that were sure to bring her as much joy as acting did.
