by Delhi Magazines Delhi Magazines

The game Ghost of Tsushima is an action-adventure game whose popularity surged just after its release as it ended up selling 2.4 million units in just three days. It is set up in the 13th century, Tsushima island in Japan where the protagonist goes on an adventure in various diverse regions where he confronts numerous friends and allies. The game was able to leave a long-lasting impression on the players, and if you are someone who loves Ghost of Tsushima, you too will probably like to watch the following anime as well –

Blade of the Immortal

Blade of the immortal is well known for its violent beheadings and torture, as it is not for the gutless. The fights depicted are always too gory, and the immortal Manji always ends up brutally hurt in most of his fights. Moreover, the antagonists are intentionally given special weapons which makes the fights even more cruel and unforgiving. The protagonist, Manji in order to die has to kill a thousand evil men. He decides to help Rin take revenge for the murder of her family along the way. The show is surely not for the faint of heart as the violence and brutality depicted in it are only for the thrill-seekers.

Vinland Saga

Vinland tells the tale of a power struggle between the Vikings and Denmark, as warriors with a strong sense of justice and love of nation confront each other in the world of dirty politics. The violent story follows Thorfinn who seeks to avenge the murder of his father, the principles of peace that he learned in his childhood are no longer relevant as he takes down his adversaries with no mercy. For Thorfinn, revenge is all that matters and forgiveness is no longer an option. If you like the Ghost of Tsushima, there is no doubt you would love the violent and unforgiving world of Vinland Saga. You are in for a treat.

Sword of the Stranger

The Sword of the Stranger is a story of a mysterious samurai whose past is hidden behind the veil of secrecy. But when he finds a reason to fight, he realizes that there is so much more for him. The movie spins a great tale where samurai employ different standards of morality to contest and fight with each other. The characterization is very impressive as the creators were able to write an unforgettable tale of honorable and respectful characters. The plot is able to balance violence and action, but it would be a mistake to think that the show is all about violent fights. The plot of the movie is interesting as its fight scenes come with tons of twists, which makes it very unpredictable but once the storyline falls into place, one comes to realize how well the plot is written and executed. For all the Ghost of Tsushima, these three are definitely a must-watch action anime as they have a lot of elements that they share with the famous game.
