Automated security systems are few of the common devices used in large spaces such as offices, hotels and hospitals. Transmitter/ Remote style Panel

This category is more of personal usage as the only medium of access is some sort of transmitter or remote. The panel needs to be installed somewhere where the signals can be easily received. The Access is granted by the pushing the buttons on the remote. This type of panel is usually installed for private gates such as mansions and personal parking lot or garages.

Keypad/Key code style Panel

This division of panels is used most widely and by several commercial facilities. The panel has a keypad (telephone style keypad) which is used to enter the code that triggers the gate open. These types of panels are installed outside major facilities which have a lot of employees or users.

Being the most common form of access control, these panels are used commercially as well as residentially.

Access control is an important necessity, especially in a commercial facility where the users are a lot in number. This way of access control saves the hassle of checking every employee entering the facility and also saves money on hiring a permanent staff at the entrance.
