About women car rally in TSD (time, speed and distance) format

Everyone is well aware of the car rally which has existed for a long time. Significant planning and implementation are the core strengths to make any car rally successful. Car rally runs on public and private roads with checkpoints. Car rally is used to serve a social cause or can be a part of an activity.

Women’s car rally came into existence to celebrate the spirit of drive in women and salute the strength of womanhood. The Times of India group took the initiative and started Times women drive in TSD (time, speed and distance) format. It is one of the biggest “All women car rally” in the north.

A point to point format that has its own sets and desired checkpoints. A real timeline is set to reach the finish line within a given time duration. TWD asks the participants to drive the car

between a set point and reach a prescribed point within the given time, speed and distance.

TWD ensures your safety and advises you to make safe choices while driving in a car rally by following a prescribed TSD (time, speed and distance) format.

Times women drive in the north has started off its journey way back in 2009 in Mumbai. With each passing year, it has only grown in its strength and vigor and has expanded enormously.

The TWD drive holds the spirit of celebration of womanhood and a sense of commitment to oneself. Over the years, TWD has built a strong community of followers and fans who look forward to experience or be the part of times women drive every year. TWD north is ready with its next edition on 29th Feb 2020 sponsored by JK Tyres. Gear up to hit the drive and be a part of the biggest All women’s car rally by Times of India group.

The event kicks off with a briefing day on 22nd Feb 2020 followed by flag off on 29th Feb 2020. During the briefing day, all the participants participating in Times Women’s Drive North will have to come with their respective vehicles before the rally to attend the briefing session to get all the details. Car Testing, Document Verification (Licence's, Car Papers & Documents), etc. are to be checked on the briefing day.

Route Rally Map, Workshop, Kit and Stickers are the following requirements required by the participants of the women's car rally. Each team must entail a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 drivers with valid driving license of both the drivers along with the RC of the car. If RC is not on the name of the participant, the NOC letter signed by the owner works well. TWD asks for pollution check papers as well and makes it mandatory to have rally insurance.
