Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination also known as BCECE is the basis for student’s admission to the undermentioned degree programs running in the universities and colleges of Bihar –

  1. Medical courses: Government and other institutions MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS / BHMS/ BUMS/ B. Physiotherapy/ B.Occupational Therapy/ Graduate programmes (Lab Tech., O.T., Assistant, X Ray Tech., Opthalmic Assistant and Orthitics and Prosthetics)/ Para Medical Bachelor and other related programmes.

  2. Engineering / Pharmacy courses: In Government/ in other institutions of Bihar recognised by the Government and in Bihar quota seats of institutions outside Bihar.

  3. Biotechnology with Agriculture courses: Pusa (Samastipur), Rajendra Krishi Vidyalaya and Bihar Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Sabaur (Bhagalpur) graduate programmes.

BCECE entrance exam 2016 for admission in above mentioned courses in different medical, engineering and agriculture colleges under Bihar Government is being supervised by BCECE as signified in the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act, 1995.

BCECE 2016 Exam Date is mentioned in the application form, submission of which will be done online. According to the application form the important dates of BCECE entrance exam include –

Eligibility Criteria for BCECE entrance exam 2016

  1. Applicant must be citizen of India.

  2. Applicant applying for medical admission must be of 17 years of age as on 31 December 2016.

  3. Applicant must have passed +2 with subjects that include – Biology, Physics and Chemistry) and must have scored 50% as an aggregate for General and OBC category and 40% for SC/ST & OPH

Documents Required With The Application Form –

  1. Passport size photographs.

  2. Duly signed form in either Hindi or English.

  3. Declaration by the applicant.

  4. Hard copy of challan, birth certificate, mark sheets and category certificate.

It is important for the applicants to know that changes to the application form can only be made before sending the hardcopy to the University. No changes will be allowed after the successful submission of the form.
