I’ve been in website design from past 5 years. And trust me, I find it very attractive when I saw an appealing visual content, interactive themes and a design which is sure to attract the user. And there are so many stunning things you can do with your website to make it more alluring.
But even after implementing all these elements, I’ve still experience the damage to my website.

Good-Looking Website distract users
Not just in life but on the website also, the case is same, Goog-looks distract people. Think of a situation when you visit a website and what your mind could think of is, “WOW” but then you get confused about what to do. That time, all you do is to leave the site immediately.
If your users are coming to your website and do not know what to do, then trust me, your website is a harm to you!
Website which has low functionally have high bounce rate
When I visit any website which is very attractive but I don't know what to do next, I leave that site. And hopefully, other users will also do the same.

I have also made such mistake. I keep on working to make my website look beautiful but once I launched it, all I get is the failure. Then I realize that a website doesn't have to look good but also work well.

If I had to wait for a long time to get the site load completely, I never return back to that site. And not just me, every user does the same.
