A look on the latest addition to the iOS family- The iPhone 6
For the last few years we’ve been watching
android win the race of better smart phones with a rather large display of
around 5 inches and apple sticking to 4 inched phones for a better one handed
use and experience. This went fine for Apple until people started choosing
android devices over the iPhone 5s because of its 4 inched small screen that
quite frankly got all iOS users fed up.
However, apple is now backing in the race
again by introducing a phone that is bigger and another phone that is even
bigger in size. The iPhone 6 happens to have an astounding 4.7 inched display
and the iPhone 6 plus happens to have an even bigger 5.5 inched display. And
it’s not just the screens that are getting bigger; it’s the overall quality as
the new device is rocking an A8 processor, better camera, faster WiFi and LTE
and tons of more features that the iOS lovers have been craving for quite some
time now. It is of course, running the latest iOS 8.1 that has been a part of
the newer iOS devices for quite some time now.
There is another feature that I found
particularly noteworthy. Both the iPhone 6 and 6 plus have Apple’s latest
revolutionary paying system, known as the Apple Pay. This is basically a sort
of NFC technology that has been around for years on Apple’s rival phones. But i
must say I’ve been using Apple’s version of the NFC and it has provided me a
better experience than that of what I’ve been using in the Moto X. The thumb
scanner is also an amazing addition that’s worth the use.
With a longer and better battery life and
evenly matched camera results, the iPhone 6 and 6 plus have been a hot addition
to the competition in the smartphone market. I personally would prefer the
iPhone 6 over the iPhone 6 plus because i kept finding glitches in the
proximity sensor. The iPhone 6 is also better for one handed users as compared
to the iPhone 6 plus as the 6 plus happens to act like a phablet with its
gigantic 5.5 inched screen that is difficult for us to use.
The Best Part The iPhone 6 provides a larger rom, an HD
retina 4.7-inch screen, better speeds on the wireless network (both WiFi and
LTE) and an intelligent camera autofocus. Apple Pay makes iOS better and better
with Apple lovers drifting in to get use the latest addition to the iPhone
family.
The Worst Part Didn’t see a huge change in the battery
life as compared to the iPhone 5s. I mean if the screen is larger, you could’ve
entered a bigger and better battery, right?
The Final Verdict The iPhone 6 is an outstanding phone in almost
all of its aspects except the battery life of course. Now in using safari browser in an iphone you can use twitter video downloader easily. A thin phone with a large
screen and a newer payment option that you just can’t help loving. I would
happily give this a 10/10.
