The Premise of Char Dham

Char Dham yatra was introduced by Sri Adi Shankaracharya in 8th century A.D. This yatra holds a significant importance in the Hindu tradition. Year after year thousands pay the visit to the Dhams. But nowadays, the yatra can be completed in 2 days by helicopter.
