GCE O level private candidate registration requirement

• The candidate applying must be at least 15 as of January 1st of the year they are sitting for the examination.

• The candidate must not be a school student.

• For science subjects with practical papers, here is the entry requirement.

1. Suppose you are registering for a science subject with the practical paper. In that case, you must have the same science subject previously, for you must be currently attending or will be attending a course of instruction in the registered science practical at an institute or school.

What are O level private candidate fees?

• The candidates are required to pay the amount of examination fees according to their citizenship. For an instant, there are different fees for Singapore citizens, international students, Singapore permanent residence.

• On average, the basic fee structure for Singapore citizens is $64. At the same time, a Singapore permanent resident must pay $65, and an international student may have to pay $75 for registering as GCE O level private candidate.

• Per subject, the fee ranges from $75 for Singapore Citizens, $100 for Singapore Permanent residents, and $105 for international students excluding the GST, which applies to the basic and subject fee.
