A Few Things You Can Do With Your Broken iPhone Instead Of Dumping It

by James Spencer Blogger

If you have broken your iPhone, there is nothing to panic. Just look around, since it happens every day with people among us. Even if there is metal given for casing, glass of the device plays an important role not only in accessing the phone, but it also makes the phone easy to break. And, the liquid issue is quite easy to happen that makes your phone stop working. Well, there are a number of ways how your phone may go in out of working condition. All you have to do is find a reliable repairing destination or you can put it for other aspects as you want.

  • Sell its parts: Whether the iPhone is smashed, chipped, cracked, it might not hold a good value to you, but there are people out there who can pay a decent amount for it. Although you can’t expect to sell it for the price of a working phone, you can sell it across some website, where vendors take non-working phones. For example, you can find eBay selling non-functioning iPhone parts in a decent sum. A buyer may want to take whatever parts of your iPhone are working and put them in another broken iPhone to get it working.

However, make sure there is no private information on the phone you are selling.

For example, it is dead and couldn’t delete your data, then it might not be a great idea to sell.

  • Allow the beauty out of imperfection: If your phone has got spiderweb cracked glass, but it is still working, it would be an excellent opportunity to turn your device into an art statement. For Japanese, there is an art called Kintsugi that involves something broken and mending with some other components to make the broken piece more beautiful? Though experts don’t recommend any such artwork for a phone screen, you can reach professionals repairing or replacing the glass from a reliable broken iPhone repair shop.

  • Use it for the drop test: If you soaked your phone, your phone circuitry may have fried up leaving the phone looking perfectly intact. You can use it for the drop test before buying the new one. With the drop test, customers get the idea of how durable the phone is before next purchase from the same brand.

  • Have an emergency phone: If your phone has been busted up, you might want it to replace entirely. However, with having a new phone, you can transfer your necessary details and needs to that, whereas you can use your old phone for emergency calls and you can keep it stored anywhere in your home, car somewhere your prefer.

  • Turn it into the server: It is a practical application for iPhone, which is quite off-beat than what you do with your iPhone daily. So, if you’re tech-savvy, you can set the device as a mini server. There are plenty of apps for it to set up the server. In this way, you could give yourself access to files on-the-go. Especially, if you end up replacing your broken iPhone with a new one that doesn’t have much local storage.

Whether your phone is completely broken or just damaged a bit, you can go through these few options, instead of allowing it to become a complete history.
