For every business, marketing is an important aspect as it directly affects the sales and conversion rate. However, the choice between the two kinds of marketing is personal but one must know what is best for their organization.

Running a business is not only about providing quality service and unique products, but it is also about rendering the marketing services that can help you grow your market and stand you out in a fair competition.

Though traditional marketing is considered the best practice because we have been following it up since ages. But, companies offering digital marketing services have made it clear that there is no way it is lesser than traditional. In fact, it has been cutting edges and proved itself as the best marketing medium.

Let’s dig deep and understand why digital marketing is able to cover wide market as compared to traditional,

Traditional marketing

It is the marketing that we are being exposed to every day like radio, television, newspaper, advertisements, pamphlets, etc. Its foundation is based on product, price, promotion, and place.

Using the four P’s, people create pipelines and sales funnel. These are creative ways to address the audience, require a lot of time and money to be spent on.

It targets everyone that falls in the proximity of the promotion and is likely to use the product in a defined cost.

The targeted audience is easier to reach as the method acquires a huge audience under influence. For example, radio can be played at any time and thus, people are more likely to come across a service or product at least once a day.

Since the target audience is huge, therefore, the advertisement is made for all and easily understood by all.

The biggest advantage of traditional is somehow is its curse. As much it is easier to target the audience, greater is the difficulty level of interaction.

The methods of promotions are the same and cannot be changed. So is the case with the timing of the promotion. The pre-decided slots can be helpful or of no use to the business.

The cost of promotion through traditional ways is a lot more expensive if compared to a digital marketing strategy.

Once a story has been set out then there are no ways to customize or modify it.

Unlike digital marketing campaigns, traditional strategies can’t be traced

Digital marketing

It is defined as the method of leveraging the internet to promote business products and services. It uses the digital mediums for connecting with audience and branding.

Digital marketing includes Facebook advertising, search engine marketing, content marketing, social media marketing. It is has become so important and popular because of the internet.

With its cutting-edge methodology to reach a specific audience at the right place and right time has made it extremely useful and successful in the business marketing.

•It is cost-effective. In a lesser amount, you can reach a greater audience and influence the market.

•Results are recorded and can easily be altered if the campaign is not proceeding in the direction we have expected.

•The results are real-time and evaluation of the digital marketing strategy can be done at the same time.

•If you are posting quality content and fulfilling the promises then for sure you will end up building a good brand image.

•If not strategized properly, digital marketing can cause some serious damage to reputation.

Both mediums of marketing have positive aspects. However, digital marketing services are booming but traditional marketing cannot be entirely avoided. There are a lot of people who still do no use internet and can only be influenced in a traditional manner. Therefore, as per the requirements and target audience, one must choose the best.
