On the other hand, you can stream full HD movies online with Amazon prime. You can also watch some 4K quality shows on Amazon Prime.

• Functionality of App:

Netflix apps are fairly consistent on different platforms like PS4, Sony TV or an Android Phone. Amazon is bringing its various apps together in terms of looks and functionality. However, there is a certain refinement required for Amazon app. Netflix app has ease of usage with smart functionality.

• Best Movies:

This completely depends on the type of genre you like to watch. Netflix has 4318 films available in its database. Amazon Prime UK has 22971 films and TV series available. Netflix sends smart recommendations to its viewers based on their viewing patterns. They also offer two modes- children and adult. One of the unique features in Amazon Prime is that you buy or rent films on this platform. Whereas, to watch any movies on Netflix, you must subscribe to it.

• Supported Platforms & Features:

All Smart TVs support both these services. You can view Netflix content on the Chromecast browser. Apple TV supports Netflix but not Amazon Prime Video. However, with an iOS app, you can stream Amazon content to your Apple TV.

These are the key determinants to enable you to choose a subscription service for your entertainment.
