What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?

The name of my latest book is: Overcome Addiction Through Meditation, Fasting and Stress Management: Learn How These 3 Actions Are the Solution to the Addiction Problem

I find it easy to do research, so I used to use the internet to research the brain. After a while I had a gut instinct that I would be able to solve the addiction problem. Seeing the amount of people it would benefit, I went ahead with my journey of figuring out how to overcome the addiction problem. So I went from what I believe was an inherent like of research, that laid the foundation towards working out a solution to a big problem.

What authors, or books have influenced you?

Its actually the opposite for me for my addiction book. I thought to myself if I read books on addiction I would end up just writing what I have read in my own words. So to be unique and make a difference I stayed away from addiction books.

What are you working on now?

I had a section in the book of additional things to consider in regards to addiction. I am looking at maybe writing another book on more things people who are addicted should consider.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

For Non fiction authors, I would say the same advice I followed. Try not to read too much about what you are writing about. To be unique you need to figure things out yourself .

What is the best advice you have ever heard?

General advice on being humble.

How did you come up with the title?

Overcome Addiction Through Meditation, Fasting and Stress Management: Learn How These 3 Actions Are the Solution to the Addiction Problem

I thought why not let what I believe the solution (meditation, fasting and stress management) to the addiction problem be in the title. I was not in it for the money anyway but to try and help people. So instead of hiding what I believe is the solution in the book I put it in the title.

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?

I would have been more patient. I couldn’t wait to get the book out there in the world. It’s only a small book. Maybe I could have waited until I got more ideas to put in the additional things to consider section.

Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?

I find writing in general a challenge. I make notes and type them up. Then I find it hard to organize them into a book. I struggled with what I should name my chapters and in what order the chapters should be in.

Did you learn anything from writing your book and what was it?

I learnt a lot writing the book about myself and others. I know dopamine is quite well talked about nowadays, however neurotransmitters in general are quite underrated. I personally had a lot of mental chatter and intrusive thoughts which I was able to sort out from the methods I outline in the book.

Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?

Read and implement what the book says. If you are struggling with a harmful activity see the progress you make using the actions noted in the book. Even if you are not an addict but want to improve your mental health, this book is great as a self help guide, making you stronger mentally.
