Italia Group Elevates aceTECH Mumbai 2025 with Immersive Displays
Italia Group, one of the global leaders in the mosaics and tiles manufacturing industry, delivered one of its most memorable showcases at aceTECH Mumbai 2025. With Palladio, Piccolo and Grifine at the forefront, the booth transformed a 300 sq. ft. space on the grand passage into an immersive design experience that drew thousands of architects, interior designers, and specifiers over four days.
Rather than functioning as a traditional product display, the booth unfolded like a curated gallery, blending mosaic art, material innovation, and technical craft to demonstrate how surfaces can shape emotion, identity and spatial storytelling. The experience began with a dramatic glass mosaic Mask Mural whose scale and expression immediately captured attention. It set the tone for a journey where every zone, from Piccolo's porcelain mosaic tile colour-rich world to Grifine's tactile contrasts display of ceramic tiles and Palladio's artistic depth, offered something distinct and memorable.
One of the most admired elements was the larger-than-life Bandra–Worli Sea Link mural, aligned entirely in glass mosaic tile. Its precision became a recurring conversation among visitors, who spent long moments examining its interplay of shading, alignment and realism. The mural became a symbol of the craftsmanship and technical mastery that Italia Group brought to the exhibition floor.
This year's showcase also highlighted the Group's innovation for 2025. Piccolo introduced the Brocade Look, an 8-SKU 5×10 cm metallic-inspired porcelain mosaic tile range created in response to a rising preference for subtle sheen without the weight of stone or glossy finishes. Palladio unveiled two major launches: the 3.5 cm Triangle under the Hotmelt Collection, shaped by conversations with specifiers seeking geometric dynamism; and the Sintered Collection, a high-performance range born from architect-led insights and designed for wellness, spa, and high-traffic environments.
Amidst the art, colours, textures and new materials, one of the most human moments of the exhibition came from Italia Group's "Make Your Own Mosaic" wall. Visitors picked from colourful 10×10 cm porcelain tiles, wrote messages or doodles, and placed them onto a large grid, creating a collective artwork that evolved throughout the event. The overwhelming participation demonstrated how deeply the activity resonated as a shared memory of aceTECH 2025.
Reflecting on the success of the showcase, Nishant Poddar, CMO, Italia Group, said:
"Italia Group intended to create not just a booth, but an experience that inspires. aceTECH 2025 allowed us to demonstrate how mosaics, through craft, innovation and storytelling, can transform spaces into expressions of personality and purpose."
With its combination of artistic expression, innovation-led products and visitor-led engagement, Italia Group's aceTECH Mumbai 2025 experience reinforced the brand’s vision for shaping the future of surface design.
