  • On your keyboard, press the F2 (or Ctrl + 1) key to open QuickBooks Desktop, then the F3 (or Ctrl + 2) key. Doing so will bring up the Tech Help window

  • The qbw.ini file can be opened by double-clicking it after selecting the Open File tab

  • Navigate to [QBLICENSE] PAYROLL_BUNDLE_STATE=Y upon opening the text file

  • Change Y to N in this case, then select File > Save. As a result, the modified qbw.ini will be saved

  • Proceed back to QuickBooks and try to access the PTC or WF Invites
