How to Reach Kedarkantha Trek Base

The base village Sankri is well connected by road.

  • By Road: You can take a bus or shared taxi from Dehradun to Sankri. The drive is about 190 km and takes around 9–10 hours.

  • By Train: Nearest railway station is Dehradun. From there, road transport is needed.

  • By Air: Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun) is the closest airport. Taxis are easily available from the airport to Sankri.

Starting early from Dehradun is the best way to reach Sankri by evening.
