I’m walking through the ruins of my mind, Surrounded by structures once glorious, Watching the architecture crumble. I’m searching for myself in the hieroglyphs, Looking for familiarity in a forgotten language, Trying to decipher a past I should remember. I once lived in these falling towers. Now, I wander the wastelands around them, Searching for oases of thought in the barren. I’m no longer the person that I was. Gone is my former pride now I’ve decayed. All that is left is skin and bones waiting to wither.
