How To Use DaVinci Resolve

1. Download It (The Real Deal)
Hit up Blackmagic Design’s site and download the FREE version of DaVinci Resolve. No trials. No BS. Just pure editing power.
2. Learn the Layout ?
You’ll see tabs like Media, Cut, Edit, Fusion, Color, Fairlight, Deliver.

Cut = Quick edits

Edit = Full timeline control

Fusion = Visual effects (if you wanna get fancy)

Color = Next-level grading

Fairlight = Audio editing

Deliver = Export your masterpiece
For beginners? Stick to Edit, Color, and Deliver.
3. Import Your Clips ?
Drag your clips into the Media Pool. Drop 'em on the timeline. Slice, trim, move. Boom—you’re editing.
4. Add Transitions, Titles & Effects ?
Click Effects Library → grab transitions, text, and more. Drop 'em where you want ‘em. Want cinematic vibes? Mess with LUTs in the Color tab.
5. Export Like a Boss ?
Head to the Deliver tab. Choose YouTube, 1080p or 4K, pick your location, and render that bad boy out.
