What to Look for in Affiliate Programs
Don’t Get Played ?)
Listen… not all affiliate programs are created equal. Some will have you working your butt off for pennies, while others can literally change your life. If you’re gonna put your time, energy, and traffic into promoting something, you better make sure the program is WORTH it. Here’s what to watch for:
? High Commissions – If you’re only getting 5% or 10%, that’s grocery money. Look for 30%, 50%… or even recurring monthly payouts. That’s mailbox money stacking while you sleep.
? Recurring Income – One-time payouts are cool, but subscription-based products that keep paying you every single month? That’s where the wealth is built. Imagine getting paid over and over from ONE sale.
? Proven Conversions – Don’t waste time promoting something that don’t sell. Check if the product already has testimonials, proof of sales, and a strong track record. A good affiliate program gives you marketing materials, funnels, and social proof to make closing EASY.
? Quality Product – Never put your name on trash. You want something people actually love and need. The last thing you need is refunds killing your vibe (and your bag).
? Solid Support & Training – The best programs invest in their affiliates. Look for ones that offer step-by-step training, coaching calls, or at least resources to help you win.
At the end of the day, the goal is simple: find programs that give you BIG payouts, consistent income, and products you’re proud to stand behind. Anything less is just a waste of your hustle.

Great breakdown, Paul. I especially agree on recurring income — that’s where real wealth is built in affiliate marketing. High commissions are great, but without proven conversions and a quality product, affiliates just waste traffic. Solid support and training often separate the average programs from the life-changing ones.
