Friction Shims - Custom Metal Shims

The best way to improve alignment of two metal components is to use custom metal shims. The 3m friction shims are probably the most well known but we have found that Surface Technology makes a friction shim using their composite diamond coating. In fact, I think 3m subs out the production of these metal shims to a 3^rd party. Using friction shims with diamond coating allows the two mating surfaces to grip tighter.
