Who Can Opt for Surrogacy in India?
Surrogacy in India has undergone a significant
transformation with the enactment of the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021,
which permits only altruistic surrogacy and bans commercial surrogacy. If
you're considering surrogacy as a path to parenthood, it's crucial to
understand who is eligible to opt for surrogacy under the new law.
At Surrogacy
Centre India, we guide intended parents through every step of the
process, ensuring legal, ethical, and compassionate care.
What Is Altruistic Surrogacy?
Altruistic surrogacy involves a woman volunteering to carry
a child for the intending couple without receiving any monetary compensation,
except for medical expenses and insurance. The focus is on ethical
family-building, eliminating commercial incentives and protecting the rights of
all parties involved.
