Elegant, high-performance, premium sports vehicles and SUVs are the specialty of the Italian automaker Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. With its main office located in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, Automobili Lamborghini, often known as Lamborghini, was formally founded in 1963. History of Lamborghini Motor Company, Ltd

Ferruccio Lamborghini, after WWII, established a tractor manufacturing company in Bologna, Italy, repurposing surplus military equipment. He expanded into home heating and cooling systems, amassing wealth and purchasing high-end sports vehicles, including a Ferrari. After experiencing technical issues with his Ferrari, Lamborghini developed the concept to launch his own competing sports car business. Additionally, Automobili Lamborghini was formally founded in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, in 1963. That same year, the Lamborghini, a two-seater coupe with a V12 engine. Lamborghini would quickly become a prominent brand in the next ten years, but in 1973 the firm was severely impacted by the global financial crisis and the oil crisis, which caused sales to drop down at a startling rate. Ferruccio sold Georges-Henri Rossetti a majority (51%), controlling share in the Automobili Lamborghini SpA as a result of this series of events. As Ferruccio's tractor business continued to face difficulties, he was obliged to sell his remaining 49 percent stake to Rene Leimer, another Swiss businessman. As a result, Ferruccio no longer owned any shares in the firm and decided to retire in 1974.


Lamborghini was declared bankrupt by 1978. Jean-Claude and Patrick Mimran, brothers, were placed in receivership of the business in 1980. After purchasing the business from receivership, the Mimrans made investments in its growth and model portfolio, which included the launch of the Jalpa sports car and the LM002 high-performance off-road vehicle. The Mimran brothers sold the business to Chrysler Corp. in 1987, and then in 1994, a group comprising Malaysian Mycom Setdco and Indonesian V'Power purchased it. In 1998, Lamborghini was sold to the Volkswagen Group by Mycom Setdco and V'Power. When VW merged Lamborghini under the Audi AG brand, new models and products were introduced, giving the business a fresh lease on life and boosting production.


Meaning of LAMBORGHINI

Founded in 1963, Lamborghini is a distinctive Italian supercar brand. The name "LAMBORGHINI" is derived from the second name of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the company's founder, and has no particular meaning. However, throughout time, the business has established a reputation that is synonymous with its brand, which includes producing the most sought-after luxury super sports automobiles with impeccable quality in every little detail. Meaning of LAMBORGHINI Logo

Ferruccio Lamborghini's zodiac sign, Taurus, or a bull, is represented by the bull in the Automobili Lamborghini emblem. Additionally, Ferruccio was a bullfight enthusiast, which is why he chose the bull to represent the logo. The logo features the golden word "Lamborghini" over a golden bull poised for battle on a black shield.  Certain Lamborghini vehicles also drew inspiration from well-known bulls, and certain models had names associated with bulls or bullfighting. One such model was the Miura, named for Ferruccio's friend and renowned fighting bull breeder Don Eduardo Miura. Released in the middle of the 1960s, the Miura was a well-received mid-engine sports vehicle that finally brought Lamborghini recognition among auto enthusiasts worldwide.
