TIVOLI GARDENS SLAP
Taws the summer in
the early 1960’s that I headed to the beautiful country of Denmark
I
was enchanted by the beautiful surroundings including the Little Mermaid and Tivoli
Gardens.
After settling
into a hotel, I stopped by one of Copenhagen, Denmark’s night clubs
While
at the club, a young lady came by for a chat
We
talked and she suggested we visit Tivoli Gardens stating that they have nice
music there
So
we walked over to the gardens and found a nice table to sit at
She
asked if I danced and I said not well so she said come on
So
while enjoying the music and getting into a nice dance routine, I was suddenly
slapped on my face by my dance partner
I
said what was that all about and she said I saw you flirting with that other
lady on the dance floor
I
said I was not flirting. I did nothing out of the ordinary. The lady looked at
me and smile and I smile back. That was it
And
so went my big day in Denmark, Tivoli Garden and the slap
